When making Gainer posts, I find it somewhat annoying that I have to enter both my new weight and a change in weight, when there is a graph automatically keeping track of my weight. Is there a reason why the dataset used to create each user's weight gain chart can't also be used to calculate the change in weight since the last post?
I've also noticed when looking at others' posts that not everyone enters a weight change accurate to their most recent post. Most often (without singling anyone out) I've noticed that people enter a weight gain higher than the actual difference since their last post. Is this intended to be a "feature" or is it an unintended consequence of the interface being complicated?
I hope this doesn't come across as sarcastic or rude, that's not my intention. I genuinely want to understand if there is an aspect of this small issue that I'm just not seeing.
